Merry Christmas Everyone! In this episode Mike, Rich, Steve and Will tackle a whole bunch of stuff some of which has a crimbo theme!
We kick off with CHRISTMAS BLOODY CHRISTMAS (SHUDDER)- shame on me for not knowing about this one in advance as it is the latest film from Joe Begos, who gave is VFW, Bliss, Almost Human and others! This film is currently available o SHUDDER!
Next is MAD HEIDI (Swissploitation Films) - I've been waiting a long time to see this as i've been following its crowdfunding campaign. It is currently available to rent from madheidi.com and - spoilers - we really recommend you check it out!
I knew nothing about BITCH ASS (Signature Entertainment) going in - and we were rather surprised by it! Check out our review to find out more!
Next up is SAVAGE JUSTICE (Signature Entertainment) - this is the latest film from Bondit Media Capital, the production company behind the recent spate of Bruce Willis movies. Here we have none other than Robert De Niro adding weight to a film about drugs and vengeance.
Harley Wallen has made some interesting if flawed low-budget thrillers in the past and ASH AND BONE (Desktop Entertainment) sees him step into the horror genre as a fractured family try to reconnect with each other but run into a family of cannibals instead!
Our final main review is NUTCRACKER MASSACRE (Central City Media) - a low budget British horror involving a 6ft nutcracker doll who likes to crack nuts!
Our DTV throwback is from the legend that is Jean-paul Ly, an expert martial artist, screen-fighter and choreographer who also turns out to be an excellent writer/director. Please check out the excellent SPEED DATING on Youtube!
Finally, our DTV Throwback is SANTA'S SLAY - This stars WWE star Bill Goldberg as a very homicidal Santa - check out our review to decide if its a surprise gift or a lump of coal! This one is available on Amazon Prime!

This week Mike, Rich and Steve tackle four new releases....
MAD GOD is the magnum opus from puppeteer Phil Tippet, and was 30 years in the making? The technical skill on show is unrivalled but is it entertaining?
OUT OF THIS WORLD - a French arthouse thriller in which a serial killer obsesses over a young deaf dancer...
THE ALLEYS - set in the allways of Aman (Jordan), this is a melodrama centering around a young couple being blackmailed with an illicit video of the pair...
...and THE PAYDAY sees a young IT expert forced to steal a USB stick from a security firm.
Our Short Shot is KICKASS: THE REBOOT, a lowbudget fan film surrounding the resurgence of the titular character
And finally, our RTV Throwback is SKIN TRADE, which features Dolph Lundgren, Tony Jaa and Michael Jai White - but does the film know how to handle them and give the audience what it wants?

This week Mike, Rich, Steve and Will tackle five new releases:
THE WITCH PART 2: THE OTHER ONE - is the long anticipated follow-up to the Korean action movie - has it been worth the wait? Tune in to find out!
Mike and Will then take a look at SOLID ROCK TRUST, a thriller which only features one character on screen as she orchestrates a bank heist using a series of phones and laptops to keep in contact with her gang.
LAMBORGHINI: THE MAN BEHIND THE LEGEND is a biopic starring an almost unrecognisable Frank Grillo...
LA SEDUCTION sees a young actress tempted away from her husband by her new gardener, but he has a secret agenda...
DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH sees a young college graduate gifted with membership at a stuffy country club.
Our short shot is SALEM 1692, by director Stephen Renny. We not only recommend you check out Salem but also his previous work on his own YT Channel!
Finally our DTV Throwback is DEVIL'S PREY, in which a bunch of obnoxious young adults hit a rave and are targeted by a satanic cult!

Mike, Rich and Steve tackle six new releases in this episode, kicking off with the one and only Scott Adkins in the long-awaited sequel ACCIDENT MAN: HITMAN'S HOLIDAY. This arrived with a huge buzz but does it live up to the hype? Check us out to find out!
Next up is POSTMORTEM, a Hungarian film about a photographer who takes family portraits which include recently deceased relatives. It's not long before things get spooky!
THE SPINE OF NIGHT is the latest film to be released from Shudder, and its an epic animated tale about the quest for power, told over millennia.
SUMMIT FEVER find some mountain climbers taking on a perilous quest to conquer three dangerous peaks.
TRAFFICKED is a "movie of the week" style tale involving Dean Cain trying to rescue a young teen who's been kidnapped into prostitution.
And MEAN SPIRITED is a comedy-horror about a Youtuber who's reunion with a childhood friend does not go to plan.

This week Mike, Rich and Steve tackle four new releases....
THE LAST THING MARY SAW is the latest film from Shudder to hit DVD, and is a gothic period drama involving stern religious family and a sapphic relationship.
WOLVES OF WAR is the latest film from director Giles Anderson, who has impressed us with his previous films The Dare and The Stranger In My Bed. Here he is tackling a "boys Own" adventure movie involving scientists and nazis...
SHAPELESS is a strange film in which a woman's eating disorder may be turning her into some form of monster. Is the transformation real, or metaphorical? Take a watch to decide!
STRAWBERRY MANSION is, hands down, the most bizarre film we've seen this year, but does it make any sense and does it provide any entertainment value? Check out our review to hear our verdict!
Our Short Shot is RED - you MUST watch this.
Finally, our DTV throwback is the horror fakumentary, BUTTERFLY KISSES. I have to admit I love this particular version of the found footage format, so how does it stand up? (Bizarrely, i can't find a trailer for this. Huh...)

In this fan film special, Mike and Rich take a look at four recent films based on well-known franchises.
We start with THE LAST RONIN. At the time of recording, neither of us realised that The Last Ronin is a well-known five issue mini-series, which is why we hadn't mentioned it. Bearing that in mind, please check out the podcast to hear our thoughts on the short!
Next is LEGEND: A DRAGONBALL TALE, a short which perfectly replicas the animation style of the original series. Check it out by clicking the link!
KNIGHTMARE: MAN OR BAT is the final part of a trilogy, which brings to the fore a couple of elements of Batman lore which have so far been overlooked by any of the live-action versions. Plus its loaded with blink-and-you'll miss 'em easter eggs.
Finally we have STAR WARS: X WING - a film which truly highlights how accessible quality special effects work is becoming and gives us a seriously rollicking space battle. Strap in, coz things are going to get crazy!

In this episode Mike, Rich and Steve take a look at some films which have hit the streaming services of late...
Starting with SAMARITAN, a superhero film starring Sylvester Stallone, and one which gave me a strong sense of de je vu!
Next is the Taiwanese horror film, INCANTATION. This tries to walk a fine line between found footage and conventional narrative, but is it successful? Tune in to find out!
Next is CROW, a fan-made feature film based on the James O'Barr comic-book. The original feature starring Brandon Lee has proved to be a very difficult act to follow - perhaps this may be more successful at adapting the ideas and character?
Our Short Shot is E11 STANDARD ISSUES - this is a Star Wars fan film in which a stormtrooper makes an "unboxing" video for his new weapon. Click the link to watch the whole short!

This week Mike, Rich and Steve take a look at four new DTV releases. As usual, click the link to watch the trailer!
Starting with French horror movie BUNKER 717 - set in the 80's, it follows three students who delve into Paris's catacombs and discover a horrific remnant of the second world war.
TERROR ON THE PRAIRIE has courted controversy as it is a film starring Gina Carano and produced by right wing news agency, The Daily Wire. But is the film itself any good? Tune in to find out!
THE STRANGER IN OUR BED is a sophisticated thriller in which a woman tries to investigate the disappearance of her lover, under the gaze of her controlling husband. This one piqued our interest as its directed by Giles Anderson, who had previously made The Dare. Tune in to find out to find out what we make of this one!
Our cover film this week is THE DAY AFTER HALLOWEEN, which is an indie comedy about 2 friends who discover a dead body after a particularly raucous party. Tune in to find out whether we were tickled by this!

Our DTV Throwback is LUC VAN TIEN, a Vietnamese martial arts fantasy movie in which an ancient warrior is transported to present day to find his reincarnated bride.
