Merry Christmas Everyone!
For our final episode of 2018, Mike, Rich and returning guest Tom Jolliffe take a look at three Festive Horrors, MOTHER KRAMPUS, MERCY CHRISTMAS and SECRET SANTA. Will any of them be as entertaining as last year's ONCE UPON A TIME AT CHRISTMAS? Tune in to find out!

In our penultimate episode of 2018, Mike and Rich conduct another round-up of short films currently available, mostly for free (see below)! There is the creepy doll tale, THE DOLLMASTER, two shorts concerning THE MASK, taking things a lot darker and meaner than the Jim Carrey movie, a whimsical post-heist tale THE GETAWAY, the fx-laden THE 715th, a thoughtful romance/drama WINTER HILL, a fan-made version of UNCHARTED starring Nathan Fillion and a hardboiled action movie, NIGHT SHIFT.

Looks like we're back on track and normal service is resuming! This week, Mike and Rich tackle two very different films: BUYBUST, a filipino take on The Raid starring Anne Curtis, and a Canadian horror movie which garnered a lot of praise at this year's Frightfest, THE WITCH AT THE WINDOW. Not only that, but Mike gives his take on the low budget thriller BETRAYED, ROBIN HOOD: THE REBELLION and the James Franco directed FUTURE WORLD. Hello everybody and welcome to our "lost" episode. We originally recorded the bulk of this shortly after the Fighting Spirit Film Festival, at the end of September but due to my moving house and Rich being on holiday, it took a long time to get round to editing and publishing the episode. So long in fact that we decided to add a fourth review, for the Belgian crime movie, GANGSTA, to go along with our already-in-the-bag reviews for FINAL SCORE, VENGEANCE and ATTRITION. We also run down our favourite films from the FIGHTING SPIRIT FILM FESTIVAL. Now for this episode we re-recorded the DTV CHART and I've decided to leave out the WASHING UP for this week - it will be back in the next episode. Happy Halloween, everybody! We're finally back after a month's break and are bringing you a bumper crop of horrors to check out (or heed our warning and stay away) during the spooky festivities!
This week, Mike and Rich check out the horror spoof CAMP DEATH 3 in 2D, the low budget homage PARTY NIGHT, the Brit slasher DON'T BLINK and a couple of exclusives from the SHUDDER streaming service, RUIN ME and SUMMER OF '84. Please excuse the background noise on this week's episode - Rich and I recorded it in the bar of our hotel, while attending this year's Fighting Spirit Film Festival (more on this in the next episode!).
Anyway, this week we take a look at two Anglo-Polish productions about events set during World War 2. First up is HURRICANE, about 303 Squadron. This is followed by the mystery drama THE LAST WITNESS. Then we change tack completely, with the latest horror movie from director Pascal Laugier, IN A GHOSTLAND. Welcome to our special DEBT COLLECTOR episode! This week, Mike and Will take a long look at the latest collaboration between Jesse Johnson and Scott Adkins, a film whose tone really surprised Will and features a good handful of well-known actors (and one particular star on the rise). This episode also features an exclusive interview with Jesse Johnson - apologies for my questions being rather badly recorded (Jesse's answers are much clearer as he was wearing a mic!)
THE DEBT COLLECTOR was due for a release on DVD but got pullled from release schedules rather late in the day, so we've delayed the release of this episode until we knew more, as we wanted to coincide with the release. Then yesterday we discovered that the film had forgone the usual DVD release and gone straight to streaming media! As a result, I've re-recorded the DTV Chart to make it more relevant but the other sections are as Will and Mike recorded them.

Please excuse my voice this week folks - I lost my voice a few days before and was still pretty rough during the recording! I've managed to edit out most of the coughing but there's still some in there so please bear with me!
Anyhoo, this week we take a good hard look at Nicolas Cage, as he has had three movies out recently and we've rounded them up to take a gander. First up is THE HUMANITY BUREAU, a curious sci-fi action film with some nice anti-Trump nuggets here and there. Second we have the "based on a true story" movie 211, in with about-to-retire cop Nic Cage finds himself stumbling onto a quartet of very violent bank robbers. Finally we have MOM AND DAD, in which Cage co-stars with Selma Blair as a parents who find themselves overcome with the need to murder their children. Can this film help me overcome my aversion to anything directed by Brian Taylor (Crank/Gamer)? Tune in to find out.
